My Approach

“To be aware means to be awake. Unaware means asleep. You are aware anyhow, you need not try to be aware. What you need is to be aware of being aware. Be aware deliberately and consciously, expand and intensify the field of awareness. You are always conscious of the mind, but you are not aware of yourself being conscious.” – Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

Therapeutic Philosophy: Awakening Awareness

This profound reflection speaks to the heart of my therapeutic approach. Healing begins with awareness—not just of thoughts or emotions, but of awareness itself. It is through this deeper attentiveness that we begin to shift from unconscious patterns to conscious choice, from reactive behavior to mindful presence.

My practice contains several evidence-based modalities that support this awakening process:

🧩 Gestalt Therapy

In my work as a psychotherapist, I guide individuals in cultivating present-moment awareness of thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. This here-and-now focus creates space to explore fragmented aspects of the self and uncover hidden patterns in behavior and relational dynamics. By deepening this awareness, the therapeutic process supports integration, emotional clarity, and meaningful transformation.

🧠 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

In my work as a psychotherapist, I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to provide a structured framework for identifying and reframing maladaptive thought patterns. This approach cultivates awareness of automatic thoughts and core beliefs, allowing distorted perceptions to be challenged and replaced with intentional, adaptive responses. Over time, this process strengthens emotional clarity, decision-making, and psychological resilience.

🧘 Mindfulness-Based Practices

In my therapeutic approach, I incorporate breathwork, body scans, and visualization to cultivate sustained and compassionate attention. These mindfulness-based practices foster the ability to observe internal experiences—thoughts, emotions, and sensations—without judgment. This intentional presence supports deeper self-awareness and allows engagement with each moment as it unfolds, creating space for healing, integration, and emotional resilience.

🌌 Conscious and Subconscious Exploration

In my work as a psychotherapist, I guide the exploration of layered consciousness to illuminate suppressed emotions, unmet needs, and internal conflicts. Through imagery, dialogue, and creative techniques, the subconscious becomes more accessible—revealing insights that deepen self-knowledge and unlock inner wisdom. This integrative process fosters emotional clarity, healing, and a more authentic connection to the self.

In every session, my intention is to deliberately expand the field of awareness. Whether the focus is trauma, life transitions, or emotional blocks, the therapeutic space is designed to support conscious engagement with inner experience. This expanded awareness becomes a gateway to healing, authenticity, and empowerment—laying the foundation for meaningful transformation and deeper alignment with one’s true self.
